Server Watch Notification System

Server Watch performs port monitoring and content checks on our Servers every five (5) minutes from ten (10) different locations on the Internet. If two (2) consecutive failures occur Server Watch emails an alert notification after ten minutes of the first failure. When the problem is corrected Server Watch will email another notification.

Port Monitoring:

Port 80 is monitored to ensure the Default Web Site is accessible.
Port 443 is monitored to ensure it is open for SSL communication.

Content Checks:

Verifies Sign-In page is accessible using domain name.
Verifies Sign-In page is accessible using IP address.
Verifies a Database Connection can be made.
